These days 90% of the website is providing RSS, by which user will get content automatically without even going to the specific website. There are few readers available online. Out of that Google reader, Yahoo, bloglines and newsgator are much popular. Google Readers interface is simple, intuitive and easy to use and its very popular

No less with Yahoo. Best part is Yahoo Reader is its integrated with Yahoo Mail. But its interesting fact that its not a good feature in some scenarios. Generally people feel uncomfortable to keep Yahoo mail open for long time in office.

One of my friend said, people feel that I spent lots of time in checking personal emails, but I was reading my rss feeds. And started using Google reader from that time.
