Innovation in Supply Chain User Experience

Supply Chain:

Watching an interesting show in TV y'day night on Discovery Channel on Trucks. Was totally amazed to see the level of innovations happening in those areas to improve the supply management chain as well as to reduce the cost of retails.

Few interesting things are:

• Montoring the temperature of products all across through the way of 18 to 20 hours.
• Alerting about the traffic conditions to driver & suggesting the other route
• Automatic control of tempeature in different whether conditions when truck moves from coast to coast
  
• Additional 7 Inch LCD Screens to find the blind spot
  
• Alerting the driver when small vehicle like car comes closer by in front and rear
• Monitoring the Truck with GPS across the country
• Monitoring the Engine
  

What were all missing:

• Monitoring the drivers health condition
• Montoring the vehicle conditions remotely
