Princeton - October 12, 2007 - We all want better healthcare. We all want our healthcare to keep up with new technologies. What innovations are meeting these demands? For answers, join members of IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society and UsabilityNJ, the New Jersey chapter of the Usability Professionals' Association for World Usability Day, on November 8, 2007. This year the focus in New Jersey is usability for innovations in healthcare.

"Usability engineering has a major part in improving healthcare in New Jersey. Usability specialists are responsible for making products that are easy to use, whether the product is for a physician, such as electronic prescription handling, or for a consumer, such has someone in a rehabilitation program," says UsabilityNJ event chair and New Jersey resident Alice Preston. "This event brings together professionals in human factors, engineering, computer science, and medicine to meet with students, innovators, and the business community."
