Identity Theft ! - My Response

This post is the response for the Rajesh Sharma's Blogging in Design Nitty Gritty

It is because of Protoculture & cultural behaviour. There used to be a time when we have information everything in papers. When some body leaves their information to the bank with ssn number, its totally the banks responsibility to keep your identity safe. And we believe in that. Like bank, our information was spread across many places in many ways offline. And we believe everybody, because we fill the paper form with our conciousness.

And online life is new & we don't really belive stuf. Personally I refrain to give my address online in the year 1998/ 99. Now everything is open, what ever we felt has secret has become common now & information security has become matured enough. For e.g. Lattitude and Logitude of whole world is available in web. In that case security of any country is danger. A missile can be launched to any location by an enemy with the availability of Geospot. For e.g. Lat & long of your house address is available in Google Earth.

Its totally a cultural change. Next generation doesn't believe in paper form. Because they live in digital world.
