Chat integration in E-Mail: Google Vs. Yahoo
We did a comparative study on Yahoo Chat & Google Chat integration with their email services. Below table has the differentiation between Google & Yahoo's chat integration with email. (Blogger misaligns HTML table, so provided as image.)

Overall comparing with Yahoo, Google seems to be easy to use and simple & Google wins the race in integrating chat with mail.

Interesting comparsion! But some are are wrong
GTALK has an Avatar in the contact list as well chat mode.
and Gtalk support offline messege.
MFE, We are comparing Chat integration with email. We didn't find any Avatar in Google chat window in Email.
Offline messages:
If some body leave you a offline message in Google Talk client, And if you open you gmail, could you see oline message in gmail?
