Google Maps: Draggable Driving Directions ?
http://maps.google.com - now you can change customize your driving directions on Google Maps by simply dragging & dropping the default directions to your preferred roads or highways, route around traffic, or add multiple stops on your way.
In the real time not sure how much this feature is going to help. One should be familiar with the location to change the route. But technology wise its cool. Already google is providing a shorter route to reach a place. Who is going to change the route to just drive along the coast spending the petrol/ gas. Don't know how useful this feature is, suggest!!!

This feature would definately be useful for a tourist who would love to see the coastline vs. the typical city drive

Even I saw the promotional video of google maps and they were stating that example. But in real time am not sure. Because these maps sites always provide the best route by default. Yesterday I tried trying this facility in google maps to go to Maryland temple from Virginia via Washington DC. Even though i know the route, I felt tough and confused. But feature wise, it rocks.
